is this a service I have to pay for? I have no monies. I had massive heart attack April 17th, died 15 times, got stent in rca. Put in drug-induced coma. Woke up week and 1/2 later. Paid thousands for bills. July got diverticulitis. Went to St MAry's; got cipro and metro. Took for 5 days, then sick as a dog, but pain gone. Got it again last weekend.
I have diverticulitis. Went to hosp. Monday night. They confirmed it with cat scan of stomach. Er doctor said I had diver...and wanted to put me on 5th floor for iv antibiotics for 2 days. After I was there for 7 hours, (3:00 in the a.m.), and they took EKG to make sure it was not my heart, an exray of my chest, and a cat scan of my stomach, the ER doctor said they would keep me 2 days and take me to 5th floor to get intraveneous antibiotics. When they wheeled me up to 5th floor, foreign young doctor was rude and told me I was not staying and not getting intraveneous iv. said I could go home and use the rest of the medicine I got in Juy (told him I could only take cipro and metro for 5 days due to sickness, yeast infection and thrush) He said to call my husband (at 3:30 a.m. and ask him if the old medicine was in the medicine chest. I did, but I did not know there was only 3-1/2 days left. He basically kicked me out, and I called my husband to come get me . I took the meds for 3-1/2 days. The lump under my left breast is swelling again and feels real uncomfortable, kinda stretches my muscles and moves around. After 3-1/2 days on meds, it went away and I was feeling better until today. I called my dr. today and they will call back tomorrow. I know that metro and cipro cause major sickness and thrush and yeast infections. I want to be able to call them in the morning and ask for Clindamycin to be ordered to help me heal. But I don't want to ask for an antibiotic that is contraindicative to Brilinta. You see, I think cipro is contraindicative, but the hospital said it was not. Brilinta is a blood thinner, and it says it is contraindicative to blood thinners. When I had diverticulitis in 2007 (3 bouts), my doctors gave me clindamycin, and it cleared it up perfectly without sickness, but now I have a stent and take Brilinta, an aspirin, (just In a.m.) and Lorazepam; in p.m, I take carvedilol with Brilinta and Lorazepam. Which antibiotic should I ask for in the am. can you help without me paying???
