Its Not Really A Health Question But I Was Wondering

its not really a health question but i was wondering if you can answer a injury question?i was putting some roofing tar on my roof and i stabbed myself with a poker covered in tar.it went all the way through my finger.i have some tar residue inside my finger which i tried to flush out with peroxide but still have some in there.should i go to the emergency room?
