I've Been Having This Musty Smell That Nobody Can Smell.

i've been having this musty smell that nobody can smell. It is just me, anywhere i go. I must say that i was cleaning the exhaust vent of a dryer and years old lint (lots of it) fell into my face. I was uncomfortable with it for a while, but next day i was fine, until about a week later that i have this musty smell. Is the lint falling into my face related to the musty smell i smell now?
