I've Been On Valume 5mg Three A Day For 3

i've been on valume 5mg three a day for 3 yrs. and i quit without tapering off a few days later i got a bad kink or spasm in my neck for 9 or 10 days the pain was bad then my neck let up but the it started in my leg the left side of my right knee then my knee swelled up three times as the other pain unbelievable now it's my knee and upper leg. could this be from stopping the valume cold turkey or what. i started taking valume agaim just one a day but still have the problem, i'm walking with crutches i was also on pain meds 4 # 10 hydrocodine a day but quit about three months age severe back problems and they wern't working anymore couldn't take withdraws so got put on suboxone i'm 52 yrs been in construction my whole life.
