July 20th Had Head Congestion ... Spread To Chest With

july 20th had head congestion ... spread to chest with cough .... now i have literally no voice and seems to all be settled in chest with some tightness ... take lisinipril for bp and it has been jumping pretty high lately. could this be the cause .... told some have issues with this med .... otherwise i feel ok ... no sore throat .... and yes i'm a smoker ...................... any help most helpful as my doc is 5 hrs away!!
