Just Diagnosed With Hypothyroidism. Cholesterol And Bp Have Risen Dramatically

just diagnosed with hypothyroidism. cholesterol and bp have risen dramatically and thyroid has gone from low-normal to 90.1 in less than 6 mo; never have problems with any of these prior; dr wants to wait 6-8 weeks to try bp med and synthroid; think I should go to an endocrinologist now rather than wait. your perspective?
