Just Saw My Doctor Today Re: Taking 81mg Aspirin Every

just saw my doctor today re: taking 81mg aspirin every 2nd day and have been on metoprolol 25mg bid for several yrs. he told me not to bother with the aspirin unless i think i am hvg a heart attack as i still bruise very easily...i am 63/f...what do you think?
