Last Sunday I Experienced Chills, A Fever Of 102.0 Lasting

last Sunday I experienced chills, a fever of 102.0 lasting a couple of hours, then gradually subsiding over the next 5 hours. Since then I have experienced a headache around the eyes, when I look up or roll my eyes upward, in the evening hours which has also become better during the past two days. I am a type 2 diabetic (diet controlled 25+ years) and my blood sugar has been elevated during this same period and has improved the last two days. Is there a virus that could be the cause of these symptoms.
