Last Few Days I Noticed Irritation In The Clitoris Area

last few days i noticed irritation in the clitoris area which i have had regular vaginal yeast infections in the past. this was like the same irritation but the area is like a darker red possibly a little cloudy film or discharge on it.. can this happen? I did call my gyn today and she called in dyflucan.. if not better to come in..did have intercourse with my husband Sunday and this irritation accurred..
