Last Month Before I Started My Period I Had Tissue

last month before I started my period I had tissue like substance (resembled chicken fat) discharge. It only appeared in 2 pieces when I wiped while using the bathroom and has not occurred since. But since that did occur I have been experience cramping in my lower pelvic area, I have also started experiencing pain during sex, especially when the penetration is deep (not normal for me to experience pain in this situation). Any ideas?
