Last Night I Started Feeling Pain On My Right Side

last night I started feeling pain on my right side abdomen about level with my belly button/ a little lower. The pain is sharp and stabbing, brief and happened every time I would swallow a bite of food. This morning it became more intense and is now more constant. It's not debilitating, but above moderate. Is this something I can wait and see if it gets better. I feel no nausea and don't think I have a fever.
