Last Night My Back Popped So Loud Last Night That

last night my back popped so loud last night that my sister heard it in the next room. i am am having extreme pain, it radiates down my legs and all the way uo to the back of my head. i have been having a lot of pain no medicine or the heating pad or ice pack helps. i am in severe pain. should i go to the er?
