Last Year At About The Same Time Both Ring Fingers

last year at about the same time both ring fingers started hurting to bend. I went to a hand specialist who gave me a shot of cortisone in both hands. Now both ring finger are hurting again. I have scheduled another appointment but can't see him for two weeks. What can be aggravating my hands.
