mu husbands doctor has recently prescribed actos for him because of some long term gi issues with merformin. the side effects of this drug are really scary His not sure if he even wants to start it . He's 71 and until the past year has been well regulated he has lost about 40 lbs and that has really helped until the last 6 months or so he has bowel issues and has had colonoscopy and upper gi studies and they are normal. Just wondering your thoughts on starting this drug.
