My 1 Yr Old Grandaughter Was Taken To The Er

my 1 yr old grandaughter was taken to the er friday night and we were told she has infection in both ears and they wrote a rx for sulfamethoazole yesterday she ran fever of 103 and this morning she woke up with blisters in her ears and mouth she will not eat or drink her mother took her to another clinic today and she was told she has a viral infection of her ears nose and throat and to keep giving her the rx and it will take a min to clear up is this correct
