My 20 Year Old Son Just Had Surgery For Septoplasty

my 20 year old son just had surgery for septoplasty yesterday morning. Today his bleeding out of his nose has increased to soaking a pad that is under his nose every 30 to 40 minutes and he has a hard time drinking anything. He coughs when he tries to drink and blood runs when he tries to drink. His eyes are watering profusely. I am worried that he may be allergic to the medicine they are giving him... clymomicyne, that is antibiotic, and also they are giving him tylonol with codeine. He is allergic to amoxycillin. The doctor says bleeding is normal and wont see him intil tomorrow, but I am worried that he is dyhydrating or allergic to the meds. Why is he having problems swallowing and eyes watering,,, is this allergic reaction and he is coughing some.
