My 4 Month Old Grandson Has Dry Skin Patches. Patches

my 4 month old grandson has dry skin patches. patches are on his scalp tops of his feet, hands some on his arms. he has had this trouble since birth. the patches are not red just scaly skin color. my daughter uses all perfume, dye free natural soaps to clean clothes and his body. My daughter breast feeds him. Any recommendations for creams or other suggestions?
