My 5 Year Old Son Was Using The Bathroom (#2),

my 5 year old son was using the bathroom (#2), I think he pushed really hard and what looked like his anus pushed way out ( about an inch). we took him to our DR. right away and he just pushed it back in then told us to give him laxetives. he doesn't seem to be in any pain at all. what can we do to prevent this from happening again?
