My 73 Year Old Husband Had Two Lumber Back Surgeries

my 73 year old husband had two lumber back surgeries in the last two and one half months. He is now in an rehab center to get better and get home. He has had high blood pressure a long time. It is now running high. example 210/100. . His regular blood pressure medication is labetotol 200 mg, furosefmide 40 m ramipril 10mg. Now the in house rehab center has recommended lobressor for his high blood pressure. His heart rate is always been low, but his blood pressure is going high and higher. The rehab center doesnt seem to want to listen to what his regular blood pressure medication has worked in the past. He's only there to get better and stronger after back surgery, but the blood pressure is now coming into play. any thoughts on this blood pressure problem?
