My 81 Yr Old Mother Is In A Nursing Home.

my 81 yr old mother is in a nursing home. she has severe leg edema and has recently been put on a sodium tablet after slightly low numbers after recovering from diarrhea. The lasix has also been increased but not working. Her shins are weeping from the blisters forming from the edema!! It is horrible to watch...I feel like the doctors are missing something. Is there another course of treatment or should I take her to an ER?
