My 91 Year Old Mother Had A Lump Around The

my 91 year old mother had a lump around the top of her butt crack. After pressing on it, it broke open leaving a small hole that is bleeding. I keep it clean and put neosporin in the area every time she uses the bathroom and every morning and evening before she goes to bed. She doesn't move around much anymore, just sits in her chair and watches tv.
What is this and will it heal itself....is there anything else I need to do? BTW, she doesn't like going to
the doctor....only once a year to get her blood pressure med's renewed for the year. Please advise.
