My 93 Yr Old Dad Is In The Hospital With

my 93 yr old dad is in the hospital with a severe uti and dementia. he is so confused, combative and they put him on augmentin for the uti. that to me is not powerful enough for him, he has used that before. What is the best drug for this situation? thank you
