My Blood Pressure Is High But I Cannot Get A

my blood pressure is high but I cannot get a reading with my machine. It says error. My pluse rate is probably high. I have taken my blood pressure medicine metropol about 20 minutes ago, I also have a prescription for lormanzepam. do you think I should take one to relax me? I really don't want to go to the emergency room. What do you think I should do. I am a 66 year old lady. I take other high blood pressure medicine also. I have had this feeling since 10 pm. Please advise.
