My Boyfriend Had A Hernia Surgery Last Week And Today

my boyfriend had a hernia surgery last week and today had to go in for a check up and was told his body was rejecting the mesh patch. So now they are gonna go in and take out the mesh patch and stich up the hole the old fashioned way. What kind of recovery process will this be for him? Will the hole heal or is there a probability of more complications?
