My Cat Got Outside And Came Back With A Round

my cat got outside and came back with a round wound approximately the size of a dime. it smelled and wasn't scabbing over because he kept licking it. i applied a warm compress put neosporin on it and got him a cone, it doesn't smell anymore but its still not scabbing and has some pus. what antibiotics should i give him?
