My Cousin Called Me And She Said That She's Complaining

my cousin called me and she said that she's complaining to her doctor that her stomach is somewhat
hard and that she has pain for 2 weeks now and the doctor gave her prior to that, protonix which is not helping at all.I advise her to go back to the doctor and tell him. Can the doctor advise her to take upper GI
series or ultra sound to find out what's wrong with her?
