My Dad Has Had An Esophagectomy Due To Stomach Cancer,

my dad has had an esophagectomy due to stomach cancer, luckily the cancer was removed and he's still improving. He has difficulty on occasion with the feeling of something being stuck in his throat. Could you please enlighten me on anything to help with this feeling.
