My Daughter Has A Really Bad Uvula It Sticks To

my daughter has a really bad uvula it sticks to her tonsils quite badly making it hard for her to swollen her food drink and sulveria. we went to the docs but he was worried. I am thou its really affecting her.
she has got mild asmtha and coughs at only night time.
do you think I should get a second opinion?
