My Daughter Has Something In Her Pancreas The Dr Says

my daughter has something in her pancreas the dr says it looks like a spot that is 3 centimeters.. She is in a lot of pain her back her side has nausea he just wants her to have a mri of her pancreas.he gave her zefron for her pain and says he will see her back in a week/ is that sufficient enough? why is he just watching it when she is in so much pain? shouldnt she be in the hospital for these tests?
