My Daughter Injured Her Foot Dancing. The Ball Of Her

my daughter injured her foot dancing. The ball of her left foot is bruised and somewhat swollen. It happened 3 days ago. The swelling has gone down since the initial impact and she says it doesn't hurt much. She has ballet tomorrow, so I don't know if she will have more pain. Should I take her in for an xray?
