My Daughter Is 21 And Has An Upper Respiratory Infection

my daughter is 21 and has an upper respiratory infection been on z-pack since tuesday, cough medicine and had some inflammation from cough. Woke up saturday morning with pain on the left side under her breast and ribs. The pain has not subsided. I have given her tums and chamomile tea in hopes it was just intergestion, but no relief. she is home from college and tends to have a high fat diet. I'm concerned it could be kidney stones or pancreatitis?
