My Doctor Gave Me An Antibiotic Shot In The Hip

my doctor gave me an antibiotic shot in the hip yesterday for a kidney stone that may have damaged my urinary track. Now i feel pain at time that is like a knife or pine sticking me at times. could this be the reaction from the antibiotics? I am 49 year old male that recently passed a kidney stone this month. Any info. that could educate me on this antibiotic would be grateful.
