my doctor says i'm ready for a hip trans. i'm 52 roughly 5'5" on my left leg and 5'7" on my right leg, i weigh 190lbs. i was a victim of LCPD in both hips. my concern is the weakend state of my bone in the left hip especially. so many things could go wrong but, my main question is what are the life long limitations after surgery especially having legg perthes as a child?
