My Elderly Friend Just Got This Prescription From The Dentist.

my elderly friend just got this prescription from the dentist. She is afraid to take as she it listed on her allergy drug lists as take nothing with mycin in name. I was told that this is not like the ones she is allergic too, including arthomycin, etc. Can you please verify ok. to take this for tooth infection-procedure.
