My Father Was Sedated In ICU Six (6) Days Ago

my father was sedated in ICU six (6) days ago after being intubated for pneumonia and having suffered cardiac arrest in the ER when he aspirated after being suctioned. it's been close to four (4) hours and he hasn't waken up yet. How long could this take. He was responsive after being resuscitated before the sedation.
