My Friend Has Asthma And Has Been Put On The

my friend has asthma and has been put on the ventalator, or life support to me. She didnt want this but was told if she wanted to live it was nessarry. today is her 4th day and everything is good. All vitals are good but she is still whezzy. Does she still need to be highly sedated and stay on the ventilator?
