My Granddaughter Is 6 Months Prego And Has Been Having

my granddaughter is 6 months prego and has been having cramping..... she went to the doctor today and he took a vaginal swab..... said she should be fine but if she has ??? he will have to take the baby within a couple weeks.... what is he testing for ???
