My Granddaughter Just Finished A Course Of Antibiotics For Strep

my granddaughter just finished a course of antibiotics for strep throat on Tuesday and yesterday developed a rash on her feet and lower legs that is itchy. Her school told my son that several children that had strep throat developed a rash which then it was discovered they had scarlet fever. My son lives out of town on a ranch and is trying to decide if he needs to bring her into town to see an MD, what are your thoughts.
