My Grandson Is 10 Years And Has Experienced Repeative Gagging

my grandson is 10 years and has experienced repeative gagging or dry heaves for twelve weeks. At times this happens three or four times a day and other times 60 to 70 times a day. There seems to be no reason for the issue.
Any guidance would be appreciated.
