My Grandson Is 17 Months Old,for The Last 48 Hours

my grandson is 17 months old,for the last 48 hours he has had serve diareea .it is like water.to wear it is leaking out of his diaper.we have been giving him pedalite.he has had a fever of 101.gave him tynol for the fever.my question is should I take him to the emergency room
