My Grandson Is 19 Months Old.......since September He Has Been

my grandson is 19 months old.......since september he has been slowly getting more nauseous, starting throwing up and eventualy severe diarrhea,,,,,he was in children's hospital for a week for dehydration and what they called slick gut syndrome....also he was not eating.......he had a failure to thrive diagnosis when he was about 3 months old and was on a feeding tube for about 2 months when he finally starting eating better..... he was taken of failure to thrive dx and we thought he was going to be fine........but now he is still not eating much at all, drinking pediasure and ensure.......he is back in the ER tonight as his abdomen was distended and they said he had diminished bowell movement and did an enema....and they did blood work and stated he was anemic and his liver enzymes were very high...........my daughter in law states that they are probably going to d/c him and have her follow up with his pediatrition..........arghhhh!!!!!!!!!!! we feel that something is going on on he is just being treated incorrectly............help !!! We feel like we are loosing him.
