My Grandson Is Having A Spotty Rash It Comes And

my grandson is having a spotty rash it comes and goes .Monday till today he was only getting it at 5:30 in the morning then it would be gone by 7am. now he has some here and there.they look like round areas flat can not feel them.he is acting fine and is not sick.he is having ear surgery the 4th of feb. and I was wondering if it is something I should be concern about.
