My Husband (89 Yrs Old) Takes Fluticasone Propionate 50 Mcg

my husband (89 yrs old) takes fluticasone propionate 50 mcg 1x per day. He has congestive heart failure and recently had a problem with fluid retention and had to be hospitalized. He takes blood pressure medicine, diabetes medication and thyroid medicine. I read the side effects of fluticasone and he gets short of breath and has lost his appetite. His cardiologist monitors him carefully but I wonder if he should be taking this medicine based on his problems and side effects. Thank you.
