My Husband ,age 79 Saw His Phy. Yesterday For Cold

my husband ,age 79 saw his phy. yesterday for cold and coughing no fever vital all good . Gave him prescription for cough cheratussin ac syrup which does NO good. I saw my doc 30 min later. she did a chest xray flu swab I have the flu..I really think he has bronchitis which he is known for every winter. So I played doc..(.IOL) and gave him 2 of my Benzonatate 100 mg That seem? to help your take on this . I will call his doc in am. couldn't get her today.
