My Husband And I Are Drinkers, Evenings After Work. However,

my husband and I are drinkers, evenings after work. however, in the last 24 hours he has been sleeping pretty much the whole time. but in the few hours he has been up, he is babbling crazy stuff that doesn't make sense, and now he's been up for an hour and it's just crazy babbling. could he have had some kind of stroke or aneurism or mental breakdown ? do I need to take him to urgent care or something more serious ? thank you
