My Husband Continues To Have Knee Pain And Lower Back

my husband continues to have knee pain and lower back pain...he looks like he has lost weight and has loss of appetite he does drink daily several vodka and juice in the late afternoon and thru the evening I was thinking he may need a MRI to determine what the issue is what is your thoughts?
