my husband had a fever during a strep infection. his aso titer is 1600 and the normal level should only be below 200. his doctor prescribed penicillin 1.2 g every 4 hours for 5 days. he's fine now but his doctor said he has to undergo injections every after 21 days for 5 years. should he do it or not?
