My Husband Has Been Having Stomach Bloating For Several Months

my husband has been having stomach bloating for several months now. We are told it is air. It sounds hollow when you tap. There is no pain but sometimes discomfort when it swells a lot. Our Dr. says it's air and so did the gastrointerologist. But I just hear something about trouble with the pancrease, is there a possibility there may be a connection?
