My Husband Has Intermittent Slurred Speech..seems To Happen At Night.

my husband has intermittent slurred speech..seems to happen at night. He says it is because he is tired. But this is fairly new, he's been tired many times before and never had slurred speech.
The other day he was crouched down in the shower after having his shower, bent down in the shower . and fell over, his leg was weak and he could not weight bear for a few minutes and then had a headache all day with tingling down his leg to feet. he does have bad varicose veins on that leg/ calf and now his calf is sore to the touch.
