My Husband Initially Was Given Methylprednisolone Due To A Virus

my husband initially was given methylprednisolone due to a virus that consisted of fever, chills, pain in lower extremity/groin area and thereafter broke out in a rash. He took it for 2 days and extreme itching started! He went back to the doctor due to abdominal pain and shortness of breath. The "walk-in" doctor took him off of what his GP gave him and to rub Calamine/Aveno on his rash, take Benedryl and Zantac. Today, which is over a week ago since all of this transpired, he is burning everywhere and his skin is heated and rashy/spotted. He doesn't know whether or not to go back yet again? We looked up the side effects and he has several if not all of the "serious" side effects except for seizures, which we hope & pray it doesn't get to that. Please advise if possible. Thanks!
